SLABBING UP THE PINE
*Preparing for the large new garden space: Clearing out the trees, phase 1.

I had cut down some larger growth last year and started to clear the thicket of woods that had encroached over the years on our little 1950’s Cape. This year- with all the virus induced extra down time- I dedicated myself to clearing the remaining trees casting shade over the area we had in mind for our larger garden space. First I had to cut up the large pine that was sitting in the way. I set up my Alaskan Chain-saw Milling assembly for my large bar Makita chainsaw, and milled up some lumber we may use to build a shed and or Tree house soon. This was phase one of the clearing the land project.
